We noticed that the type of financial advice that is readily available back in the US, the UK or Australia is not available in Asia. The private banks work for the extremely wealthy and there is an abundance of commissioned products. What is missing is objective, conflict-free investment and financial advice by qualified professionals. That’s why we established Creveling & Creveling Financial Planning Limited – to fill that void.

Creveling & Creveling works with expatriates of all nationalities as well as Thai citizens. After more than ten years of providing professional investment advice to institutional clients around the world, we are now focused on providing this same level of professional service to individuals.

“We offer commission-free advice which enables us to operate solely in the best interests of our clients,” Peggy says. “As fiduciaries, we are expected to uphold exacting standards of care, skill and prudence.”

“We are the first and only foreign investment advisor licensed in Thailand,” adds Chad, “and we have voluntarily registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission in order to bring the highest level of fiduciary standards to our clients.”

Prior to entering the financial field, he served as an Infantry officer with the US Army. Chad was a Distinguished Graduate from the United States Military Academy, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1986. He also studied in 1992 at the Stanford Graduate School of Business before relocating to Thailand in 1993. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1996.

Chad has been a member of the CFA Institute since 1996 and is a founding member of the CFA Society of Thailand.

Chad combines a love of the analytical process with a genuine desire to help people achieve their financial and life goals. He brings an exceptionally high level of dedication, experience and a clear communication style to finding financial planning and investment solutions that work to help his clients meet their financial objectives.

Peggy Creveling, CFA

Peggy served in international research and management positions for over twelve years for multi-national firms such as Citigroup. Her financial analysis skills have earned her ranking as a rated analyst in the annual AsiaMoney and Institutional Investor surveys, and were instrumental in the Citigroup Thailand team being rated by AQ Research as having the best equity research in terms of accuracy of recommendations.

After leaving the institutional financial world, Peggy realized the need among expatriates for truly independent financial advice, and therefore decided to help individual people achieve their financial goals.

Peggy graduated in the top 10% of her class from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (Mathematical), after which she served in the US Army as a Military Intelligence Officer. She has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder since 1996, and is a member of the CFA Institute. She is an original member of the CFA Society of Thailand.

 She is a member of the Garrett Planning Network, an international affiliation of fee-only financial planners. As staunch consumer advocates and client-centered fiduciaries, Garrett Members demonstrate their commitment to serving the public's best interests by making competent, fee-only financial advice accessible to all people, not just the affluent. Network members believe that professional, independent advice is something everyone needs to build the brightest financial futures.

In her free-time, Peggy enjoys a variety of sports, as well as salsa dancing with her husband Chad.
